Create An Auction

Last updated 11 months ago

The auction feature on Wapal is divided into two distinct sections, each designed with a focus on Classic and Timed Auction formats.

  1. Minted Auctionsβ€Šβ€”β€ŠThis section refers to the NFTs that you have already minted and can be kept in an auction.

  2. Mintable Auctionsβ€Šβ€”β€ŠThis section refers to the 1/1 NFTs that have not been minted yet and can be minted and then put up for auction.

Here’s how you do it

When you navigate to the Auctions option on the nav bar, you'll come across the following choices:

My NFTsβ€Šβ€”β€Šthis section is for NFTs that you already have in your collection and are ready to auction off.

My Auctionsβ€Šβ€”β€Šthis section is for all the NFTs that you’ve successfully auctioned off and want to keep track of.

Mint and Add to Auctionβ€Šβ€”β€Šthis section is for 1/1 NFTs that you haven’t minted yet, but want to auction off.

  1. In the β€œMy NFTs” section of Wapal’s new auction feature, you can view all the NFTs you have in your wallet. From there, you can select a particular NFT and create an auction for it by filling in the necessary details, which are conveniently laid out in a picture guide for you.

  1. In the "Mint and Add to Auction" section of Wapal's auction feature, you can mint your 1/1 NFTs that haven't been minted yet and place them up for auction. To do this, you'll need to fill in some required details and complete a few simple processes, which are clearly shown in the image guide provided.

1st - Details

2nd - Token

Note - We have added an increment feature where users can only outbid the last amount according to your set increment percentage.

3rd - Attributes (Metadata)

Once the auction's done, the top bidder in the given time gets to be the super stoked new owner of the NFT and can totally claim it. As for the others, they can just withdraw their bid amounts.
